Austin Jackson

Rumor has it, the Tigers have a lot of faith in their newly acquired young outfielder Austin Jackson. Jackson, brought over from the Yankees in the Granderson trade, will more than likely start Spring Training as both the Tigers’ starting center fielder and lead-off hitter. The Tigers are interested to see immediately the return they received for their prize outfielder in action.

This is wonderful in my opinion, as we as fans will get to see if this trade was as stupid and pointless as I had estimated it to have been. I think Jackson will find success in Detroit, to the tune of a .280/.350/.455 line, which would be a great return at the price.
